We are glad to welcome the Eurospine Foundation on March 26-31 in our academy.

For years Eurospine, the Spine Society of Europe (SSE) has found the task of educating  health care professionals in spinal pathologies and developing treatment strategies of great importance. In 2009, EuroSpine, the Spine Society of Europe and the EuroSpine Foundation (ESF), collectively EuroSpine decided  to initiate a new European Education Plan focusing on establishing European education  standards, both for spine specialists in training and as part of continuous education  for existing specialists.  

Am 28. bis 29. April 2012 wird zum ersten Mal ein Fortbildungskurs für Zahnärzte in der AMTS stattfinden. Dieser Intensivkurs für fortgeschrittene dentale Implantologie richtet den Fokus auf die einzeitige autologe Augmentation mit autologen Knochenringen. Der Veranstalter Dentsply Friadent, zusammen mit den beiden Veranstaltungspartnern Geistlich Biomaterials und CK Dentalinstrumente, ist stolz darauf, diesen hands-on Kurs am menschlichen Präparat zum ersten Mal in der Schweiz anbieten zu können.  

A DSTC™ Course (Definitive Surgical Trauma Care) is a course that teaches decision-making, trauma management and surgical techniques of seriously injured patients. The treatment of all life-threatening injuries from the head to the extremities represents the central subject of the course, however, the focus lies on the first treatment of life-threatening abdominal cavity injuries.  

Synthes currently hosts the 15th Surgical Skill Course Forefoot at the AMTS from January 28 – 31 2012. This course is led by an international faculty under the auspices of Prof. Beat Hintermann, and attended by 75 participants.

A few impressions of the course below.

Vom 10. bis 11. November 2011 fand das alljährliche Jahrestreffen der Pathologen in der AMTS Luzern statt. Teil des Rahmenprogrammes war eine gross angelegte Messe mit 25 Ausstellern sowie einer Poster Exhibition, welche von rund 150 Teilnehmern besucht wurde.
