New approaches are needed in order to keep pace with innovations in medical technology. Integrating modern training and simulation methods into continuing and advanced medical education is the answer to the fast-increasing complexity of many medical fields such as minimally invasive surgery, musculo-skeletal surgery and emergency medicine. The goal is to achieve a high standard of skills among medical staff in order to optimize patient safety. To this end, the Academy for Medical Training and Simulation (AMTS) offers unique high tech possibilities and an inspiring learning environment.
