AMTS, the Akademie für Medizinisches Training und Simulation, is a company that was founded by a group of proactive doctors, together with partners from industry, and which is taking continuing professional development in the medical field to a new level with its innovative offers.
As a modern centre for training and simulation in the newly refurbished “alten Frauenspital” (former hospital for women), covering a surface area of 200 sqm, AMTS offers a modern infrastructure that can be used by businesses, doctors’ organisations, associations, clinics and AMTS itself in order to conduct a wide range of different types of courses (e.g. technical courses, surgery and emergency management courses). A fully equipped operating theatre, rooms for workshops, an ER trauma room with CT simulator, an IPS and other classrooms are available for practical exercises.
