On the Swiss eHealth Campus, industry and users come together. The Campus is both a technology platform and a forum of innovative cooperation.
ICT has long become a top priority. Cross-functional thinking and acting are required in order to achieve an efficient workflow. This not only includes the medical and healthcare operations, but also technical and logistical ones and those of materials management, drug safety, traceability and quality assurance.
Doctors and healthcare professionals are not computer scientists. And they do not have to be. Their strengths lie in adequately looking after their patients in a personal manner. Therefore, they should have access to highly user-friendly ICT tools that optimise the provided services through their deployment.
